Krista Hawes

Krista Hawes is a behavior consultant and veterinary nurse at Apple Tree Cove Animal Hospital. She is also the hospital's personnel manager. She is proud of the high-quality care offered in a warm, friendly and compassionate environment at the hospital.

Krista rehabilitates dogs with demanding behavior problems and places them with new families. She also rides her dressage horse, Romany, and aspires to show professionally. Her animal companions include dogs Clyde Amos, Grace and Zaire (all of whom are therapy dogs) and cats Charlie and Walle.

In addition to her duties at the hospital, Krista is an independent professional dog trainer. She is also working towards her PhD in psychology. A passionate reader, Krista can often be found among the shelves of any bookstore. She also enjoys shopping for antiques, baking, hiking and traveling.

Katherine Klint

Katherine Klint has been bookkeeper at Apple Tree Cove Animal Hospital since 2000. She attended the University of Colorado and placed an emphasis on studies in Marketing and Business Management.

Katherine enjoys spending time with her dogs, Taffy and Sadie, and her cats, Rayne and Chloe. She can also be found playing softball, camping, biking and participating in Rotary International and Chamber of Commerce activities.
