April

Groomer April has been helping animals at Apple Tree Cove Animal Hospital look their best since September 2007. A native of Nebraska, April is a certified pet stylist, as well as a licensed veterinary technician in her home state. She has more than 12 years experience in the animal care field.

April earned an associate's degree in applied sciences from the Vaterott Technical School in 2003. She later received her pet stylist certification from the PetSmart Pet Stylist Learning Institute in 2006.

An avid equestrian, April is a member of the Bareback and Bells Riding Club. Outside of work, she cares for three horses named Toby, Jazzy and Raff as well as two dogs, a cat and a ball python. April has a number of pet-related hobbies, including flyball, schutzhund, obedience training and training horses. She also enjoys hiking, fishing, bicycling and spending time with her daughter, Shoshanah.
